Just had a set of Goodyear winter tyres fitted to our W124 300TE daily workhorse, and what perfect timing it proved to be. Virtually the day after they were fitted the snow descended and stayed with us for several days. It’s a while since we’ve driven a car with winter tyres, and we’d forgotten what a difference they make, not just in snow but cold temperatures generally (7 degrees or below) with their softer compound. Highly recommended.
